It symbolizes the spiritual connection in receiving nutrition on a variety of levels through troubled times. The choppy waters and ominous sky provides a haunting presence contrasted with the assured calm on the angel's face along with the placement of her hands. She is strong, focused, and relaxed in her sense of duty to tame the waters.
